Rio Sports & Tour is focused in promoting tourism through sports activities , events and guided tours to the famous landmarks of Rio de Janeiro. The company was established as an evolution of the work already being undertaken by its partners for over a decade. Before starting the tourism company, its founders worked as beach volleyball coaches. It was through this experience that the idea of starting a business emerged.

The city of Rio de Janeiro has several options of entertainment, sports, parties, music, gastronomy, among others. Many of these options do not appear in the guides and "traditional tourist circuit", only those who lives in the city knows.
WHO ARE WE?
The idea was developed out of a desire to provide assistance to volleyball players who came to practice the in Rio de Janeiro and needed help planning other activities such as tourism, dining and travel while here.
The work with foreigners began by assisting and coaching athletes, beach volleyball institutions and federations from European countries such as Germany, Austria, Cyprus, Greece, Norway amongst others like Japan and the United States.
With the goal of providing a great experience for these visitors, we decided to create a business that combined traditional tourism services with specialized sports training.
